Whitlow finger is an abscess of the end of the finger caused by infection with the herpes simplex virus. It usually affects the fleshy area of the fingertip while whitlow toe is caused due to bacterial infection and sometimes due to herpes and fungal infection.
What are the symptoms?
The fingertip suddenly becomes red, swollen and extremely painful.Small white blisters develop underneath the skin of the finger, which may break to release fluid, eventually crusting over.
TIPS to cure it using natural therapy:
1. Dip the affected area in your urine and allow it to dry.
2. Apply palm kernel oil to the affected area.
3 After some hours, preferably in the night, insert the affected area in lime juice (note that, it is very painful).
4. Do this for 3-4 days.
