Medical marijuana has taken over from pharmaceutical drugs in
USA especially among the elderly from 50 years and above.
People now take it to
treat conditions like insomnia, depression and even serious illnesses like
cancer. The irony of it is that, many claimed that medical marijuana has no
side effect and that it is a wonderful medicine that makes them happier and
healthier.
Most of them smoked marijuana decades ago and are now realizing
that medical marijuana is the one thing that really works for the many
conditions that come with age.
Medical marijuana is legal in 23 states, the District of
Columbia and Guam, and recreational use of the drug is legal in Washington
State and Colorado.
